Wild About Birds, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental education, conservation and preservation of habitats for the benefit of Florida's birds and other wildlife. We have been involved in Raptor Rescue and Rehabilitation since 2001, and offer educational programs with live birds throughout Volusia County, Florida. Our programs meet Sunshine State Standards and can be tailored to meet your needs, whether in a classroom setting, large assembly, outdoors or for a special event.
Our "Wings and Things" Programs feature Katie Belle, an American Kestrel, Mr. Frodo, an Eastern Screech Owl, and Tomahawk, a Red Shouldered Hawk. These birds travel the countryside spreading the word about the importance of protecting our Wild Florida and all its inhabitants.
